RECAP OF “LANDFILL CINDERELLA EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM” AWARDING EVENT FOR ETHNIC S’tieng and M’Nong STUDENTS IN BU GIA MAP

After awarding scholarships to the K’Ho ethnic students in Dang Sron, Lam Dong and Hmong children in Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai, 4TheYouth Foundation has awarded 10 additional scholarships “Landfill Cinderella Education Scholarship Program for Disadvantaged Ethnic Minority Children in Vietnam” to the S’tieng and M’Nong children at Dak A Primary High School, Bu Gia Map district, Binh Phuoc province, with the accompany of Mr. Khuong Huu Thang/ Management Board of Bu gia Map National Park and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Ha/ Principal of Dak A Primary School.

The scholarships from the profits of teaching Public Forum debate by Saigon South International School’s students at Vietnam Public Forum Academy (VPFA) not only provide financial support to help these S’tieng and M’Nong students overcome educational barriers by covering a part of their living costs, but also light up the dreams of young souls who are thirsty for knowledge.

We believe that education is the key to opening the door to development, where potentials are unleashed and extended to later contribute a small part to the country’s development.

4TheYouth Foundation would like to sincerely thank everyone who has accompanied us from teaching debate at VPFA and throughout the scholarship awarding process.
