RECAP OF OFFLINE TEACHING SESSION AT SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE GO VAP

On Saturday, August 24, 2024, volunteers including students from Saigon South International School (SSIS), Inspire Youth Debate@Canadian International School (CIS) club, and Vietnam Public Forum’s National Talented Youth Team, working at the charity organization 4TheYouth Foundation and SSIS’ Hand in Hand Club, came to teach the children at SOS Children’s Village Go Vap, Ho Chi Minh City.

The lesson which follows a specially designed program via the Landfill Cinderella Virtual Library along with the teaching materials organized by SSIS students created an exciting and joyful atmosphere for both the students and student volunteers. We would like to share some photos from yesterday’s teaching session.

The next few lessons will continue to take place weekly online combined with offline teaching according to the plan of 4TheYouth Foundation and Hand in Hand Club.

Finally, we would like to sincerely thank all the student volunteers who helped bring joy to the students at the SOS Children’s Village Go Vap as well as everyone with the desire to join hands to contribute to nurturing a picture of compassion and solidarity in the community, thereby creating positive changes in society. We can all believe that the future of the children will change through enhanced access to education and their own hard work.
