Landfill Cinderella Education Scholarship Program Awards Scholarships to Van Kieu and Pa Co Students in Quang Tri

Following the awarding of scholarships to K’Ho, Hmong, S’tieng, and M’Nong students, the 4TheYouth Foundation awarded ten scholarships totaling VND 5 million under the “Landfill Cinderella Education Scholarship Program for Ethnic Minority Children in Difficult Circumstances in Vietnam.”

The recipients were Van Kieu and Pa Co students from Khe Sanh Secondary School, Thanh Secondary School, Huong Lap High and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Huong Son High and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Huong Linh High and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Huong Loc High and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Huong Viet High and Secondary School, A Xinh High and Secondary School, A Tuc High and Secondary School and  Xy High & Secondary School in Quang Tri province. This initiative received support from Ms. Do Thi Diem Ngoc, Principal of Thanh Kindergarten, and other teachers.

The scholarships are funded by profits from Public Forum debate classes taught by Saigon South International School students at the Vietnam Public Forum Academy (VPFA).  They provide financial assistance to help these students overcome challenges, excel in their studies, and cover living expenses, thereby supporting their educational aspirations.

We believe education empowers individuals and drives national development.  We are deeply grateful for the partnership of teachers in Quang Trị province and debate coaches at VPFA, whose support has been instrumental to both our debate program and the scholarship awarding process.
