After awarding scholarships to the K’Ho ethnic students in Dang Sron, Lam Dong, 4TheYouth Foundation has awarded 10 additional scholarships to the Hmong children at Mu Cang Chai High School and Mu Cang Chai Continuing Education Center, Yen Bai province, with the accompany of Khang A Tua – a shining example of determination to excel academically for the Hmong people (https://vietnamnet.vn/…/the-journey-of-a-mong-minority…; https://www.facebook.com/share/p/XmFpjayrkoF8gQpg/?mibextid=oFDknk).
The scholarships from the profits of teaching Public Forum debate by Saigon South International School’s students at Vietnam Public Forum Academy (VPFA) not only provide financial support to help these Hmong students overcome educational barriers by covering their accommodation costs when they leave their families and beloved villages to study in Mu Cang Chai district, but also light up the dreams of young souls who are thirsty for knowledge.
We believe that education is the key to opening the door to development, where potentials are unleashed and extended to later contribute a small part to the country’s development.
4TheYouth Foundation would like to sincerely thank everyone who has accompanied us from teaching debate at VPFA and throughout the scholarship awarding process.
