It is heartwarming to recall the visit to SOS Children’s Village Go Vap by the 4TheYouth Charity Foundation, which involved a multinational group of students from Saigon South International School, members of Inspire Youth Debate’s branches such as IYD@Canadian International School, IYD@Vinschool, and IYD@Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, and students from Lycee Francais International Marguerite Duras.
Indeed, the engaging activities during the visit, such as participating in a fun and laughter-filled game of charades and sharing diverse cultures from the US, UK, Taiwan, and China, have surely fostered valuable exchanges and connections between students from different backgrounds and the children at the village. These experiences help promote understanding and appreciation across cultures, creating a positive and enriching environment for all involved.
The act of delivering heartfelt gifts, which were donated by students and their parents, reflects a commendable spirit of care for the community and sincerity from all participants. These collective efforts and acts of kindness likely brought joy and happiness to everyone in the village and created a positive and memorable experience for those who were involved.
The opening of the “Landfill Cinderella” virtual library at 4TheYouth-SOS Go Vap is indeed a meaningful initiative. The initiative to establish the online library reflects a thoughtful and dedicated approach to supporting the educational development of the village children, aiming to create a positive and lasting impact on their learning opportunities.
